Kaktus + Mobil.cz
We have built a new generation of Kaktus and Mobil.cz applications with a shared technological core and unique brand identity. We have created a modular ecosystem combining development efficiency with a personalized user experience.
T-Mobile faced a challenge: two apps were suffering from mounting technology debt. Instead of partial modifications, we designed a complete reconstruction. We found a way to strike a balance between a shared technological foundation and the unique character of each brand. The result is a solution that optimizes costs but preserves a quality user experience.
The two applications share a common core that encompasses most of the code, while the user interface is tailored to individual brands. Thanks to the modular architecture, updates and fixes are automatically reflected in both applications. Safety meets MASVS standards.
The solution brought T-Mobile a significant reduction in development and maintenance costs. Technological unification makes deployment of new features faster and more efficient. Both apps provide consistent quality while maintaining a unique identity. A significant benefit is the readiness for future extensions — other applications can be integrated into the same system without the need for development from scratch.
