A digital employee presence tracking solution that turned attendance into a coordinated team play — with a clear view of every player on the field. By connecting a simple tablet interface with the HR system and evacuation procedures, we built a reliable co-pilot for both daily operations and unexpected situations.

The Challenge

Safety starts with visibility. But nobody wants to waste precious time on clunky check-in flows and admin overhead. Decathlon Czech Republic, our long-time partner, felt the same way. The goal of our collaboration was to build a tool fast and intuitive enough that it never slows anyone down on their way into work — and precise enough that, in the event of an evacuation, it gives a crystal-clear picture of everyone inside the building. So we got in the game, brought the tech, and delivered both simplicity and confidence to the world of attendance tracking.

Our Solution

The result is a robust solution for every store and office, combining the simplicity of a tablet interface with a live HR system integration. Store managers no longer need to manually maintain their employee database — everything syncs automatically. The tablet at the entrance displays the employee roster for that location, organized by department. One tap on a name, one tap on the button — done. No passwords, no friction.

But the app goes beyond just logging arrivals. Employees can record how they got to work — whether they made it the healthy, sustainable way on foot, by bike, by public transit, by car, or as a carpool passenger. This data helps track the carbon footprint of commutes and motivates the team toward more sustainable mobility habits.

When a visitor drops in from another branch, they're added with a single gesture. And when the evacuation alarm sounds, the tablet instantly shifts into checklist mode — a manager can switch to evacuation view with one tap, enabling them to track which employees have already been evacuated and which areas have been cleared. Speed, clarity, reliability. Just like any well-prepared team.

The Result

Employees check in within seconds, no complicated procedures — and can immediately see who's currently on shift or who the responsible manager is at any given time. Managers have instant visibility into team coverage, and Decathlon gains valuable commute data to support sustainable mobility initiatives. Through the API, everything connects seamlessly to tools like Google Sheets — making it easy to export, analyze, and share data in platforms the company already uses. And when the alarm goes off, that tablet becomes a tool that can save lives.
